Soft Waves & Timeless Glam: A Garden Wedding Beauty Story

Some brides come to us with a vision. Others come to us with a feeling — a mood they want to feel like on their wedding day. This bride wanted both: long, romantic waves and a soft glam makeup look that would carry her from quiet morning light all the way through golden hour under the trees.

We started the morning the way we always do — slow, personal, one-on-one. There's something special about that quiet stretch of getting-ready time, lipstick in hand, soft light coming through the curtains, before the day gets big. It's our favorite part of the job as a Dallas bridal hair and makeup team: those in-between moments that end up meaning just as much as the "I do." Photographer Abby Shadle captured those moments beautifully. 

For hair, our artist Olivia built long, cascading waves with serious volume and movement — the kind that photograph beautifully whether she's standing still or laughing with her bridesmaids. It's one of our go-to bridal hairstyles for brides who want romance without looking overly done, and it held gorgeously through an outdoor ceremony and a full day of photos.

Makeup-wise, created by artist Daisy, this was a true soft glam moment: warm, dewy skin, a soft flush, and a lip that read polished in photos without feeling heavy in person. We get asked a lot about the difference between soft glam and full glam, and this bride is a perfect example of soft glam done right — it's not about doing less, it's about doing it so it looks effortless. Every product is chosen to last through tears, hugs, humidity, and hours of dancing, while still looking soft and natural up close.

Her bridesmaids were glowing right alongside her in champagne-toned gowns, parasols in hand for a little shade and a lot of charm.
