What’s your name and how did you get started?
I am Sabina. I'm a makeup artist, and I started doing makeup about six years ago. I went to university and graduated as an economist. I realized that I'm about art, and I took a makeup class—and I realized that it was a really good decision for me.
What’s your favorite thing about doing hair and makeup?
For me, it's about relationships—because in makeup, it's not only about how you look, it's more about how you feel. It's about your self-confidence. I often work with brides, and sometimes I need to be like a sister, a friend, and a makeup artist as well at the same time. And that's important for me.
Fun fact about you?
Once I did makeup when it was completely dark—it was during a winter storm. At one moment, we had no electricity at all, and we decided to start just with our flashlights—and everything was good!
