What’s your name and how did you get started?
Hi, my name is Angelica, and how I got started with doing hairstyling is I went to cosmetology school and I really thought I was going to be a makeup artist. I love makeup, but no, I became a hairstylist instead because it comes more natural to me than doing makeup, and I've just stuck with doing hair styling ever since.
What’s your favorite thing about doing hair and makeup?
So my favorite part of being with my clients is going to be the conversations we have and just getting to see how they react after seeing the transformation and everything. It just makes me so happy to see them be happy and more confident and feel great about themselves.
Fun fact about you?
Fun fact about me is I have six dogs. I have one big dog, and the rest are all little chihuahua mixes like rescues, and I love them so much. My favorite dog is going to be Barry. She's my Yorkie Chi mix. She's so cute. She's a little black hair dog and I love her so much. She has so much personality and attitude.
Favorite product you can’t live without?
My favorite hair product is going to be Amika's Fluxus Hairspray. It's the best hairspray. It smells so good. It's so soft. You can use it on anybody's hair.
