A Summer Filled with Color: Abby & Mason’s Wedding

There’s just something so carefree about a summer wedding. Despite the Texas heat, Texans know how to stay cool, fun, and classy. For Abby and Mason’s wedding, the countless memories filled with love beat this summer heat. Their wedding venue, The Nest at Ruth Farms made the perfect host for a hot day, offering classic elegance with a mix of country chic. 

The bridesmaids all got ready upstairs, sharing laughs, smiles and memories, matching in all blue. The bouquets, made by The Blooming Bride, were filled with cheerful yellows, peaches, pinks, purples, and whites that made every photo feel vibrant without taking away from the classic bridal look. Against the clean white venue, every little detail stood out in the best way.

When it came to Abby’s bridal look, the goal was simple: timeless, effortless, and still completely her. Hair artist Ashley created a softly textured updo with loose face-framing pieces that felt romantic without looking overly styled. It was elegant enough for the ceremony but still soft enough to move naturally throughout the day. Her makeup, created by artist Liza, focused on fresh, glowing skin, softly defined eyes, and neutral tones that enhanced her features rather than covering them up. A classic soft glam look. Nothing felt heavy or overdone, the finished look simply let her shine. It's the kind of bridal glam that will still feel beautiful twenty years from now.

Photographer Hannah Black captured the sweetest parts of the morning along with videographer Reverent Wedding Films. The sentimental first touch, quiet moments between Abby and her mother, and the fun shenanigans between groomsmen’s. All these moments and more were tastefully captured for Abby and Mason to look back on for years to come.

After “I do’s” were shared, the couple hit the dance floor with all their closest friends and family. Entertainment provided by Its Your Night, enlightened the dance floor, beautifully curated by 5 Star Rental. Drinks were poured and flowing by Shaker Bar and Beverage, keeping the party going all night long. The couple said their goodbyes at the end of the night and were driven away in a vintage car provided by Limo Lux DFW
