There are weddings that feel beautiful, and then there are weddings that feel like a feeling. This Colorado mountain wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch was the second kind. Rolling green meadows, moody mountain skies, and a bride who looked like she stepped straight out of a love letter. We are still thinking about it, and we are so honored we got to be part of it.
Spruce Mountain Ranch gave this day its soul. Wide open pastures, dark wooden fencing, and layers of mountain ridgelines made the perfect backdrop for a luxury destination wedding in Colorado. The overcast sky only added to the magic, softening everything into that dreamy, editorial glow every bride hopes for. The incredible team at Leigh and Co Events, led by Jane, planned every moment with such care that the whole day felt calm, effortless, and completely guest-ready.
Our bride wore a strapless sweetheart gown by Sarah Seven, found through The Dress Theory Nashville, with a sculpted bodice and a full tulle skirt that floated behind her in the grass like a cloud. Her cathedral veil, finished with delicate lace along the edge, completed the look. A pair of pearl earrings added quiet elegance, and her Dolce Vita shoes kept things chic and comfortable. Her groom stood beside her in a classic black tuxedo with a peach boutonniere, and together they looked effortlessly timeless.
The palette was soft, sunny, and so thoughtfully done. Calla Lane Florals created a bouquet that was a romantic mix of cosmos, blush roses, ranunculus, and buttery yellow orchids in peachy pinks and creamy whites. It was the ideal match for her bridesmaids in flowing butter yellow satin, each in her own silhouette. The moment the girls saw her in her gown was pure joy, and every happy gasp was captured beautifully by Kaili Photography, with Samantha Ruscher Photo shooting film that gave the day a timeless, nostalgic glow.
Dessert was a showstopper from Love Emily Bakery, and the guests were treated to a delicious dinner by Occasions Cater. It was a true dream team of Colorado wedding vendors, and we are grateful to share the day with every one of them.
Our bride’s hair was the quiet star of the day. She wanted a look that felt clean, modern, and classic all at once, and our team delivered a sleek center part with a smooth, polished low bun. It is the kind of bridal hairstyle that photographs beautifully from every angle, whether she is laughing with her girls, standing in an open field, or walking down the aisle. Her veil was placed so it floated gracefully from the bun and let the hair stay the focus.
Sleek bridal hair looks effortless, but it takes real technique. Clean parting, a smooth finish, and a style that holds through a full day of mountain air, photos, and dancing all require skill. Our lead artist, Ashley, worked beautifully together to create a look that stayed flawless from the first photo to the last dance.
